I am a medical oncologist working at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, treating patients with breast cancer and colorectal cancer. I also work at the Familial Cancer Centre at Peter Mac and the Austin Hospital and offer risk assessment, genetic testing and risk management advice for patients with an underlying cancer genetic syndrome.

Research interest

My research interests are primarily in early-phase translational clinical trials to develop targeted treatment for patients with metastatic breast cancer. I lead a number of breast cancer registries, and am using data from these registries to inform clinical practice.

I am also involved in drug prevention clinical trials for women who harbour a BRCA gene mutation and others at high risk of developing breast cancer.
