Flow cytometry resources

The Institute’s flow cytometry laboratory is one of the best equipped in Australia. We operate seven cell sorters and 10 analytical instruments. Our instruments have up to five lasers with up to 18 fluorescence detectors.

Our instruments are available for external as well as internal use. Experienced laboratory staff operate cell sorters, and analysers are operated by investigators. Training can be provided for all analytical instruments; flow laboratory staff can also prepare and analyse samples by arrangement.

PC3 cell analysis and cell sorting

The Institute has a new PC3 facility which houses a FACS Aria Fusion cell sorter and a FACS Verse analyzer. This equipment is available for use to internal and external researchers.
